This new HTC flagship phone is yet another fine smart phone from the Taiwanese based HTC company, after the success of the HTD Desire, it would be foolish to change the recipe to much, this is why HTC haven’t with the new Desire HD. There are really two phones this new incarnation has to try and beat those phones being the IPhone 4 and the Samsung Galaxy S.
From the outset unfortunately the HTC Desire HD falls behind its main competitors, it isn’t quite a sleek and small as the other two, although it is still very much pocket sized, also the screen display isn’t quite as crisp as the other, don’t get me wrong though the screen on this phone is very good, but the other two are just amazing. Apart from these two small issues the HTC starts to catch up and overtake in some key areas.
The HTC Desire boasts the most power full camera of any phone on the market, and it has the biggest screen of any of its rivals at 4.3 inches (compared to 3.5inches on the iphone 4) the HTC desire has a very clear home screen, it is not quite as easy to navigate as the IPhone but neither the less it is very easy to use.
The best thing about this new HTC is the processing power and android 2.2 software which makes the phone nothing but a pleasure when under intense usage, it multi tasks like any other phone on the market and the super fast processor and high RAM means there really isn’t a situation this phone cant handle.
